Serial link for the PC
If you cannot read/write BBC discs on your PC using FDC (see
info about this), a serial link may be the answer. XFER
v3 XFER v4 are pieces of
software that you can download here. Both downloads contain instructions on
how to make the cable for the link. The registered version of Stuart McConnachie's
PCBBC BBC emulator also contains the software PCXfer for direct link including
cable construction information. Please be aware that it is possible to damage
your PC or BBC with an incorrectly configured lead. Make sure you are happy
with your lead before using it. If you have trouble getting the parts required
or are no good with a soldering iron, then you need:

required serial cable for folks £20. 9 pin at the PC end.

Light Pens
Lightpen kits consisting of : Resistor, Transistor, Light Sensor, Biro. You
will need a 15 way D type plug and a length of suitable wire. Info for construction

Master Battery Backup Replacement.
If you have the battery backup consisting of 3*AA sized shrink wrapped batteries, or if your present battery pack is corroded, this is of use to you. I make up a replacement that consists of a triple battery holder, diode, resistor and plug. You can then easily and cheaply replace your battery backup regularly. £5 including p+p.
