REPLAY screen data sheet

Please note that the following programs have special screen formats, and therefore may need slight alteration to their video data, although the version of REPLAY supplied may have this data built in (in which case the game will only be recognised if the name is spelt correctly in upper case letters.)
First transfer as normal from tape to disc, and then enter the 'Edit file' mode (option 4 from the menu.)
From here you can change the VDU data by pressing 'V', colours by pressing 'C', and screen mode and size by pressing 'M'.
Video data is given as (register,data), colour definitions as (logical,actual), and screen mode and size as (mode,size). 'Okay' means that that data does not need altering.

REPLAY Game improvement data sheet
as OF lO/9/85 (number 3)
The data given refers to the 'Alter program' option from the 'Edit file' mode in REPLAY. To enter this mode, boot up the REPLAY system menu, and press '4' for the 'Edit file' mode followed by the program letter. Then press 'A' for alter program, followed by 'N'.
You will then be asked for 3 numbers (all in hexadecimal), consisting of 'Data address 1', 'Data address 2', and finally 'Data'. These are the three values which coresspond to one byte in the program, hence the values below are listed in groups of 3, though there may be more than one group.
To cancel an improvement to a game, simply repeat the 'Alter program' process with the same values.
