This is the Econet Advanced User Guide for the BBC Micro Computer. Version 1.01 - Updated 05.01.98 It is in a rich text format and is just about a perfect copy of the original - including spelling mistakes. There were also two program listings in the User Guide, and to save you the trouble of typing them in (or copying across), I have included them in this zip in the archive format. I have not had chance to test them, they may be one or two errors. If anyone can test them on an econet system I'd appreciate it, and let me know the results. I have not done this for commercial purposes, and do not intend any harm to the copyright owners who are still Acorn Computers Ltd. This is only a part of a much larger project, which is electronic documentation for the BBC Micro, for the internet. If you find this useful, have any old manuals, ROM guides, games cheats, gathering dust, then type them up (or let me at them), and post them - preferably to Robert at his site dedicated to the BBC. http://www.nvg.unit.no/bbc/ This is where I will post all of my future works. The BBC lives..... Mark Usher marku@magnet.at Version 1.01 Changes made to the Transmit and Recieve program listings. Apparently they didn't "quite" work. New versions included in the documentation and as seperate files. Note: In the "Receive" program if station number 0 is entered, messages from any station will be received. If the port number is also 0 messages on any port will be received, otherewise messages will only be received from the station you entered, on port port%.
