Go left and up the first ladder. Wait until the first controller sees you and speeds up the stairs up to the next level. Go left to the Guard Post and lure the second controller back so that it also goes up the stairs to the next level. Now pick up the Pick and go back to the TARDIS to pick up the Splinx. Go left and down the ladder to the level below. Drop the Splinx to the right of the ladder. Drop a Splinx-marker (#1) to the right of the ladder. Go right until you see the eggs. Drop another Splinx-marker (#2) near the egg closest to you. Press C to open the Splinx' command menu. Program the Splinx with BEAFGH. Now go back left and up the ladder to the level above. Go right past the TARDIS and jump over the two gaps. This is a bit tricky, but it can be done. Do a 'running jump', and wait with the jump until the last moment. You should actually see Dr.Who drop a bit before he makes the jump. After the two gaps slowly walk down the slope until you get to the level below. You can see the Madrag below patrolling his territory. Jump to the right over the third gap. Get the Pick in your hands and press E to execute the Splinx' program. As soon as the Splinx picks up the egg, the Madrag will run towards the Splinx. Now quickly drop to the floor of the passageway and dig your way through the rock-fall to the right. Store away the pick. Pick up the oxygen mask and store it away. Now wait until the Splinx returns to you. As soon as it reaches you it will halt its actions so you can pick it up again. Pick it up and climb up the ladder to the right (Leave the markers where they are. You could pick them up later).
Go to the right, up the stairs and pick up the Explosives (you can pick it up while holding the Splinx). Go up the stairs to the level above and go to the right to the entrance to the elevator. Drop the Splinx and the Explosives here. Go up the stairs to the left and go left all the way back to the Guard Post where you found the Pick. Go to the platform below the Guard Post. To the left you can see a platform and a ladder. Jump onto the platform, continue to the left, and jump onto the ladder. Go up the ladder to the level above. Jump over the spikes, and jump over the gap. The last one is really wide, but as with the other gaps at the beginning, it is possible. It takes some practice. Now, go to the right and walk through the CSC (your score will now be 128 points). Walk a bit back to the ladder leading to the level above. Get the Oxygen Mask from your pockets and go up the ladder. You are now on the planet's surface (where there's no oxygen). Go to the left and pick up the Unknown Object (Leave the Packing Cases. You don't need them). Go back to the ladder and go to the level below. Store away the oxygen mask and go to the left and drop down to the level below where the Guard Post is. Go to the right, up the stairs, and all the way back to where you've dropped the Splinx and the Explosives. Drop the Unknown Object here.
Step in the elevator and go up one level. Go right and down the stairs. Jump over the gap and use the Pick to bring down the rock-fall. Go back up the ladder, up the stairs and to the elevator. Go down one level and pick up the Splinx. Go back in the elevator and go down to the level below. Go left and down the ladder. Go down the ladder, drop the Splinx and use the Pick to bring down the rock-fall. Drop the Pick (you won't need it anymore), and pick up the Splinx. Go left up the ladder, and drop down to the floor below. Jump over the spikes onto the platform. Drop the Splinx and get a Splinx-marker (#3) and drop it in the same place as the Splins on the platform. Jump over the second gap and walk up the slope. Take another Splinx marker and drop it onto the Egg below. Now program the Splinx (DECFGH) to move the egg out of your way. When the Splinx is done, pick it up and drop down to where the egg was to pick up the Splinx-marker (#4). Go left and up the ladder and drop the Splinx. To the left there is another egg. Walk up the slope up to the level above. Now when you're on the top of the slope, get the Splinx-marker (#4) and drop it down onto the egg (which is in the level below you). Program the Splinx with DEGH and execute it. The Splinx will pick up the second egg and hold it in it's pocket. When the Splinx is done, pick it up and pick up Splinx-marker #4. Go left down the slope and jump over the spikes. Go left where you'll find two ladders (a short one on the left and a long one on the right). Take the short one on the right, go up the slope, take the next ladder up, and walk up the slope to the level above. When you get up here, you can see the CSC to the right of you. Jump onto the platform and walk through the CSC (your score will now be 256 points). Go back down and take the second (longer) ladder to the right. Go up to the level above, go right and drop down to the level below again. Go all the way to the right. Here you'll find the reactor. ** I haven't figured out if you need to do something here **. Walk all the way up the stairs, and go to the right, and take the ladder to the level below. Walk all the way to the left, drop down and jump over the spikes. When you reach the small platform with the small ladder downwards, jump over the gap, walk right and jump over the second gap. Go up the ladder, go right and take the first stairs up. This will take you back to the main elevator. Step in the elevator and go up three levels. Drop the Splinx on the top floor on the right in the Splinx Re-Charge Unit. If you want to, you can charge the Splinx by executing the program IH (Charge, Halt).
Step in the elevator and go up one level and go left. A Controller will come from the right and follow you, so be quick. Go up the first stairs to the middle floor and take another stairway to the top floor. Take the first stairs up to the level above. When you reach this level immediately go to the right to get rid of the Controller which is following you. Go left and take the first stairs up and go right to pick up the chemicals and the crystal. Leave the Packing Case. Go left until you see the Controller. Carefully approach him until he spots you. Go immediately right. As soon as the Controller reaches the stairs it will go down these stairs. Go immediately left while the Controller turns around and follows you. Go down the first ladder you'll reach and go into the green Cryostan Fluid. Dump the Chemicals in the Cryostan Fluid basin. This will disable the two Controllers in the level below near the TIRU (we'll get to that later). Meanwhile the Controller which was chasing you has lost interest in you and will return to it's post. Climb up the ladder and continue on to the left and take the stairs up to the top floor. Take the stairs up to the level above. You'll find the Antigravity Mat and another CSC here. Walk through the CSC (your score will now be 512 points and pick up the Antigravity Mat and store it in one of your pockets. The next part's going to be a bit tricky. Continue on to the right and go down the stairs to the level below. A Controller will approach you from the right, so immediately run to the left. Take the second set of stairs down (the ones you took to go up to the Antigravity Mat) and immediately continue to the right. If all goes well the controller will still be on the top floor (and will still chase you). Go up the next stairs you'll reach. When you do that another Controller will start chasing you. Don't mind them and just keep running. At the end of the floor you'll find the Cloth. Pick it up and jump up the mezzanine. The Controller can't get up there, so you'll be safe now. Walk to the right and fall down to the middle floor. Go to the right and take the stairs down to the lower floor. Go left and take the stairs to the level below. Continue on to the left and go down the two stairs down to the lower floor. Now drop the Cloth, the Antigravity Mat and the Crystal to the left of the elevator shaft and lure the Controller on the right of the elevator shaft towards you. Walk left to let the Controller run over the Cloth. The Cloth will get stuck in the Controller's track and render the Controller frozen (hint: you can lure more Controllers over the Cloth; they'll all freeze up). Walk back to the elevator and go down one level.
Get off on the bottom floor to the left. Take the first ladder down to go down one level. Go left and take the first ladder down. Go right and take again the first ladder down. Go all the way down to the level below. Walk to the left through another CSC (your score will now be 1024 points) and go right to pick up the Electronic Spanner. Go back the way you came, up the ladders back. Go up the ladder near the CSC and walk through it (your score will now be 2048 points). Walk to the right, through the elevator, to the middle floor on the right side (the floor below the Splinx Re-Charger) and step in the monorail. At the end of the monorail, go up the ladder and go right to another ladder which leads to the levels above. Go up this ladder and go right. Pick up the second Hatch (the first one uncovers a ladder which leads to a room where you'll be trapped), and go down the ladder to the level below. Go down the second ladder and go to the right. Go down another ladder and go left. Take the first stairs up to the middle floor, continue on left and take the stairs up to the top floor. Go left and take the first set of stairs up and go up one level. Go to the right and pick up the Escape Pod Activator. Go back right and go up the two stairs to the top floor. Walk to the right and go down the stairs to the lower floor and go right. You'll notice the Controller guarding the Explosives. Ignore it for now (he won't chase you but if you approach it, it will capture you and imprison you). Go up the stairs to the middle floor and up the stairs to the top floor. Drop the Escape Pod Activator here. Walk all the way to the right and take the last ladder up to the upper level. Go right, pick up the Memory Capsule and walk through the CSC (your score will now be 4096 points). Go back down one level, go back to the lower floor, back to the right, up the two stairs to the top floor. Go left, down the stairs and walk left to the Memory Capsule Reader. While holding the Memory Capsule press U (Use) three times. You'll see three symbols appear on the screen. These symbols are the key to opening the door from the room where the Passcard is. Drop the Memory Capsule and go down the stairs to the lower floor and down to the level below. Go down the stairs all the way to the bottom floor. Go left until you can't go any further. Behind the locked door you can see the Passcard. You can see three symbols in the room. When you press U (Use) the symbols will change. Press U until the door unlocks (this might take a while). When the door opens, walk in and pick up the Passcard. Go left to the elevator.
Go left (where the Controller is stuck in the Cloth). Keep going all the way to the left on the lower floor. You'll notice two Controllers which are frozen. They're frozen because you've contaminated the Cryostan Fluid basin with the Chemicals. Go left even further towards the TIRU. Pick up the Heatonite Ore and go back right towards the elevator. Drop the Heatonite Ore near the elevator.
* In the Commodore 64 version one of the Rijans is actually using the pick to mine the Heatonite Ore and you have to take the pick from him. In the BBC version the Rijans just run around. I guess they never got around to code more sophisticated code for the Rijans. * The Pass Card doesn't look like the one in the manual. * The 5th and 6th Splinx-markers don't exist * The stool isn't anywhere in the game * There's no way out of the prison cell (at least I haven't found one). In the C-64 version of the game there's a 'Regenerate' option, which you can use to get out of the prison. I don't believe this option is available in the Acorn version. * You don't need the code from the Memory Capsule to open the door to the room where the Passcard can be found * Take the Heatonite Ore to the master at the other police box on the far right on level F. He will knock you unconscious and steal the Heatonite Ore from you and take it to ?????? Looking at the code of $.DocWho2 at location 3220, it seems that there are two ways of ending the game: by the escape pods or by the TARDIS
