Hi,

I dont think there are any diagnostics to actually check out the Eprom.

Also Ive never come across any disk drive that has a BBC ribbon/power connector that hasnt worked with a BBC.

How is the drive powered? is it by a cable to the underside of the BBC? If so, check the power cable is secure, One of my Cumana drives suffered from a loose power plug and wobbling it where it joined the BBC Psu sorted it.

If notherings happening at all then it definatly points to a Supply problem.
