Model A machines are rare beasts and it only had 16K as standard. I think it also never had a TUBE or 1MHz BUS socket underneath.

Thanks for a prompt reply Rich. Ok, they're both B's and both boot up!
One machine has a rotary knob on the keyboard (diagonally left of "shift lock" AND a small toggle switch on the left hand side of the unit. It also has a second processor unit and a Cumana disc drive attached, if the extra switches are anything to do with them?!?
By the way, will an ordinary din to din lead do the RGB to monitor conection, the one supplied is very dodgy!
