Trying to set up a small econet for my self to play with, I have all the kit I need I hope.
Im unable to *notify any of my other units, im doing this to prove I can talk. Could be I have not cabled it correctly, Or some thing can any one help?
My aim is to get a print and file server going.
I have just finished setting up my own little Econet with a Level 1 fileserver and one station. It is all a bit rough and ready at the moment as I do not have any proper Econet leads so I am connecting everything together with some five way cable salvaged from a Microsoft mouse with bits of paper clips soldered to the end of each wire to provide the prongs and slips of paper between everything to stop the wires touching!! It may be that you are having the same problems I had. If you e-mail me with details of the setup you have and the type of fileserver you are running, I will try to help.
