Castle Computers | Comment by Paul Relf: Following the comments I posted to the website, the RISC OS market is about to get a new StrongARM Risc PC released by Castle technology http://www.castle.org.uk, which I think will be Acorn-badged (all licenced from Pace these days), which is likely to see a flood of cheap Risc PCs as people dash to upgrade, as it's been so long since anything super-fast was released. It's something Beeb owners should think about, not as a replacement, but as the place where the Beeb lives on in a more modern guise, as really the new machines are BBCs with a really nice GUI. |
