Electron Discs

Cat Title Format Files K Information
The ELK library is where you'll find discs for the Acorn Electron, the "baby brother" of the BBC Micro. There is no standard disc format for the Electron (aka Elk) so discs in this library are in the same format as BBC ones. Many programs may also work on the BBC and be "converted down" versions of existing BBC programs. Some will be exclusively Electron.

To play ADFS discs on a real Electron, you will need the official Acorn Plus 3 expansion pack or the PRES AP3 expansion cartridge and ROM chip.

To play DFS discs on a real Electron, you will need a PRES AP4 cartridge and ROM.

Alternatively, you can load any of these discs into the PC Electron Emulator "ElectrEm".
